A ridge vent runs along the peak of your roof and lets hot, moist air escape from the attic. For it to work, the slot cut in the roof deck under the vent has to be the right size, and there has to be enough intake at the soffits to pull fresh air in. Too small a slot or blocked soffits, and the vent cannot do its job.
On our replacements, Good Vibes Roofing cuts the ridge slot to manufacturer specs, installs matching GAF or TAMKO ridge vent and caps, and checks intake airflow. Serving Spring Branch and the Houston area.
